A metre of 80 cm fence with vertical bars and a metre of 1.8 m galvanised fence with horizontal slats are different jobs. The same goes for gates, canopies and stairs: the price is set by material, fabrication, protection, site access and installation. That is why our quotes are itemised — so you see what you pay for and where you can save.
How to get an estimate in a day

With that we give a ballpark. For complex structures we come to measure and then confirm the price and lead time. Everything is agreed before work starts.
Where you can save
The biggest saving is not a thinner profile but the right protection: galvanising where it is needed, plain paint where it is enough. A fence you repaint every other year ends up costing more than one protected properly from the start. You can also save with simpler infill, standard sizes and combined jobs (e.g. a fence and gate in one quote).

How we choose protection by the sea
Salt, humidity and sun wear steel out faster than inland. We choose protection by where the structure stands, not by habit.

Is the estimate free?
A ballpark from photos is free. For a site visit on complex jobs we agree terms in advance.
Is installation included?
Installation is a separate line in the quote — you can order fabrication only or fabrication with installation.
